1. Preliminary - ARS Examination - 2013 ( Objective Type )
Maximum Marks : 150 marks
Examination duration : 02 hours

2 . ARS - Main Examination - 2013 ( Technical Type )
Maximum Marks : 240 marks
Examination duration : 03 hours
3 . Viva voce -
Maximum Marks : 60 points

All applicants desirous of appearing for ARS will have to take both exams and viva- voce . Only qualified candidates in the preliminary examination ARS may appear in the main examination ARS.

Exam Name: Agricultural Research Service Examination 2013

Number of vacancies : There are a total of 506 vacancies.

Educational Qualification : Applicants must have a Masters or equivalent in the discipline in question , specializing completed on or before 03/16/2014 . Applicants kindly refer official notification for more details educational qualification for ARS exam - 2,013 .

Age Limit: To order this test ARS - 2013 years candidate should be between 21 and 32 years as on 08/01/2013 .

Pay Scale : The pay scale range is Band- III payment of Rs 15.600 to 39.100 plus Research Grade Pay of Rs 6000 / -

Selection Process: The selection of candidates will be based on written examinations and viva- voce .

Review payment details
General ( UR ) / Other Backward Class ( OBC ) will have to pay the fee of Rs . 500 / - and Rs . 20 / - for Women / Caste ( SC ) / Scheduled Tribe ( ST ) / Person with Disability candidates (PWD ) .
