Jr. Hindi Translator :-
1. Bachelor’s degree of a recognized University with Hindi and English as main subjects, which includes the term compulsory/elective subjects.
2. Diploma/ Certificate in Translation from Hindi to English and vice-versa from a recognized University/ Institution.
3. A speed of 25 w.p.m. in Hindi typewriting.
4. Knowledge of MS Office and similar computer application.

Desirable Experience :

Experience of translation from Hindi to English and vice-versa in Central/State Government offices including autonomous organizations.

Post’s Title: Junior Hindi Translator

Placement: New Delhi, Lucknow, Bangalore, Guwahati and Indore

Required Age:

Upper age of the applying person should be under 28yrs. This upper age is relaxed to the persons of the reserved class as per the rules of the Government. The age of the person will be calculated from the closing date of application receipt.

Selection System:

He/she should be taking the Written Test, Typing Test and at last Personal Interview. It is required to qualify each phase of the selection process. Candidates whose educational and working background is strong will be considered for WT/PI rounds.
Eligibility:

Those applying for the Jr. Hindi Translator post must have compulsorily studied Hindi & English in their Graduation course, done English to Hindi or Hindi to English Translation diploma from the known place. Besides this, he/she should be having the typing speed (Hindi) of 25 words per minute and computer literacy.

If anyone has the working experience as Translator in any Government organization or any reputed company will have preference in the selection process.

Those applying for the job required filling the application form, the format of which is available at the corporation’s website. The correctly filled in form must be sent along with the self signed photocopies of the requisite documents and other necessary credentials at Assistant Administrative Officer (Pers.) National Institute of Public Cooperation and Child Development, 5, Siri Institutional Area, Opposite Hauz Khas Police Station, Hauz Khas, New Delhi-110016 till 5/12/2013. On top face of the envelope, candidate has to write the name of the post.

General Instructions:-
1. Applications should be sent along with the required testimonials.
2. Maximum age limit will be reckoned on last date for receipt of application. The upper age limit is relaxable for SC/ST/OBC/PH and others as per Govt. of India rules.
3. The candidates serving in Government /autonomous bodies/statutory bodies or public undertaking should forward their applications through proper channel failing which the application is likely to be rejected.
4. Selection will be based on written test / typing test followed by an interview. In case of receipt of large number of applications for the post, the Institute may invite only those candidates for written test/interview who possesses higher qualifications and experience.

6. The candidate must apply in the following prescribed format alongwith a recent passport size photograph with self attested photocopy of certificates/testimonials/experience certificates and caste certificate, if any.
7. On selection, the selected candidates may be posted either at Institute’s Headquarter at New Delhi or any of its Regional Centers located in Guwahati, Bangalore, Lucknow and Indore. This post carry all India transfer liability.
