Pay Scale Rs.9,300-34,800/- ( PB-2) plus Rs. 4,600/- (Grade Pay) (Total emoluments excluding T.A. and HRA at the time of initial appointment will be Rs. 26410 /-p.m. approximately)
Age Not exceeding 33 years for Other Backward Classes candidates as on normal closing date in respect of the vacancies reserved for them. Relaxable for regularly appointed Central/U.T. Government Servant upto Five years as per instructions/orders issued by Govt. of India from time to time. Essential Qualification (s) A. EDUCATIONAL
(a) (i) Bachelor’s degree in Machine Tool Technology/Machine Tools Maintenance from a recognized University or equivalent. and
(ii) Two years post qualification experience in the area of Machine Tool Maintenance in a workshop engaged in Production /Maintenance/Servicing or Teaching/Training in a Technical Institute.
OR
(b) (i) Diploma in Machine Tool Technology/Machine Tools Maintenance from a recognized University /Institute.
(ii) Five years post qualification experience in a workshop engaged in Production/Maintenance/Servicing in the area of Machine Tool Maintenance.
OR
Five years post qualification experience in Teaching/Training in Technical Institute in the Area of Machine Tool Maintenance.
OR
Five years post qualification experience in a workshop engaged in Production/Maintenance/Servicing and in Teaching/Training in Technical Institute in the Area of Machine Tool Maintenance.
B. EXPERIENCE
As mentioned above.
Note-I The qualifications are relaxable at the Commission’s discretion in case of candidates otherwise well qualified.
Desirable Qualificaiton (s) Teachers Training Diploma from Technical Teachers Training Institute under the Ministry of Human Resource Development or Instructor Training Certificate from Advanced Training Institute/Central Training Institute/National Vocational Training Institute/Regional Vocational Training Institute under the Directorate General of Employment and Training, Ministry of Labour.
Duty(ies) 1. To conduct theory classes and practical in Workshop.
2. To maintain training records.
3. To supervise the work of Vocational Instructor and Workshop Attendant.
4. To assist Director /Principal/Vice-Principal in conducting final trade Tests and all India skill competitions and to carry out other duties assigned by them.
Probation Two years
Head Quarter New Delhi with all India Service liability.
Other Details General Central Service, ‘B’, Gazetted, Non-Ministerial.
The posts are permanent.

Academic Requirements: Degree in Machine Tool Technology / Machine Tools Maintenance from a recognized university or equivalent
Qualification: Diploma in Machine Tool Technology / Machine Tools Maintenance from a recognized University / Institute.
Experience Requirements: Two years of experience training in the rear of the machine tool maintenance in a workshop on Production / Maintenance / Service or Teaching / Training in a Technical Institute.
